Police registered cases against BJP MLAs Raja Singh. The Solapur police filed a case against them for giving a hateful speech. A police case has also been registered against former Maharashtra CM Narayana Rane’s son and MLA Nitish Rane.
Last Saturday Hindu Jana Akrosh rally was organized from Rajendra Chowk to Kanna Chowk in Sholapur. BJP MLAs Nitish Rane, Raja Singh along with all Hindu Samaj leaders and local people participated in this. On that occasion, cases were registered in the Jail Road Police Station in which complaints were received and allegations were made that BJP MLAs had made hate speech. Police revealed that cases have been registered against MLAs Raja Singh, Nitish Rane and all Hindu Samaj leaders under sections 153A and 295A of IPC.
Police officials said that Raja Singh made objectionable comments about ‘love jihad’. Another MLA, Nitish Rane, spoke on the demolition of mosques, which are places of worship for jihadists and Muslims. Solapur police officials said that cases have been registered against two MLAs for their speech targeting a religion.
