As part of the Telangana Assembly elections, the process of nominations of candidates has reached its final stage. The deadline for the nominations of MLA candidates will end today. Against this background, the leaders filed their nominations in many constituencies of Hyderabad district on Wednesday.
Candidates disclose their assets, debts and criminal history in the nomination papers. Many leaders including Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh, Chandrayanagutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi and Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender filed nominations. Based on the affidavits they submitted to the returning officer, their properties and other details are as follows.
Chandrayanagutta
Assets and other details of MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi
Movables – Rs. 8.86 crores.
Immovable properties – Rs. 9.90 crores.
Arms – 22 Pistol,30-06 Rifle 12 Bore DBBAL
Liabilities – Rs. 5.98 crores.
Criminal cases – 4 FIRs against him in Hyderabad, Bihar, Anantapur, Kadapa and a petition against him in High Court.
Educational Qualification – MBBS education stopped midway.
Goshamahal
Assets and other details of MLA Rajasingh
Based on the affidavit submitted to the Election Commission
Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh’s assets have increased massively since 2018.
Fixed assets – Rs.2.29 crores.
Immovable property (wife) – Rs.34.50 lakhs.
Debts – Rs. 13.50 lakhs
Vehicles – Royal Enfield (Rs. 1.73 lakhs), Bolero vehicle (Rs. 9.14 lakhs), Tata Safari vehicle (Rs. 14 lakhs), Hector Plus seven seater car (in wife’s name)
Criminal cases – 75 criminal cases were registered against MLA Raja Singh in various police stations.(95% cases were for violation of religious sentiments, some were for assaulting a government servant on duty and fined).
The affidavit contains 11 pages of criminal records on MLA Raja Singh.
Khairatabad
Assets and other details of MLA Danam Nagender
Khairatabad MLA Dan Nagender has included the details of his assets in the affidavit on the occasion of filing his nomination. It is mentioned in the affidavit that he and his family members have real estates, shares and investments worth Rs.41.33 crores.
He stated that he and his family members have gold and gold ornaments worth Rs.27 crores. In the affidavit, his assets include houses worth about Rs.25 crores in Banjara Hills Road No. 3 and 44 acres of agricultural land in Warangal, Mahabubnagar, Bhuvagiri and Nalgonda districts. It is stated that Daman Nagender has a debt of Rs.47.55 crores.
