Telangana government has another good news for the disabled. It is known that Rs.3 lakhs will be provided to those who have their own land and build a house. For this the Gruhalakshmi scheme was brought. However, a decision was taken to allocate five percent reservation to the disabled in this scheme. The government issued an order to this effect on Tuesday.

Recently, the Chairman of the State Corporation for the Disabled, K Vasudeva Reddy, appealed to the CM KCR. To this extent, the CM KCR responded positively. In this order, Roads and Buildings Department Secretary Srinivasa Raju issued an order. Divyangula Corporation Chairman Vasudeva Reddy thanked CM KCR on this occasion. He said that he responded positively as soon as he was asked. He said that disabled people are happy in the state and feel that their dream of owning a home has come true.

It is known that the government is ambitiously building double bedroom houses for the poor. However, financial assistance of Rs 3 lakhs will be provided as part of the Gruhalakshmi scheme for the poor who have their own land and build houses. Funds have also been allocated in the budget to this extent. It has been decided to grant houses to 4 lakh people under the Gruhalakshmi scheme. While houses will be built in 119 constituencies at the rate of 3000 per constituency out of 4 lakhs, another 43 thousand houses will be given permission under the state quota.
