Andhra Pradesh assembly meetings will start shortly. The new Governor Justice Abdul Nazir will address both the Houses at 10 am. It is noteworthy that this is the first official program that Abdul Nazir is participating in after taking charge as the governor. Both the Houses will be adjourned immediately after the Governor’s speech.
A BAC meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram after the Governor’ speech. BAC meeting will decide on how many days the meeting should be held, the date of presentation of the state budget, the topics to be discussed and so on.
On the other hand, it seems that government is planning to hold meetings till 24th of this month. In view of next year’s elections, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is likely to make many important announcements in this budget meeting.
Motion of Condolences will be introduced on 15th March. The Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath is likely to table Budget for 2023-24 financial year on 17th 0r 18th March.
