CM Jagan Mohan Reddy said that after seeing the students who achieved excellent results while studying in government schools, the desire to radically change them became stronger. CM Jagan felicitated the students who achieved better results in AP Class 10th and Inters.
In a program organized in Vijayawada, Jagan Mohan Reddy honored the students who studied in government schools and colleges under the name of Jagananna Animuthyala.
AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy said that government schools in the state are working because of their strong belief that poverty should not keep them away from education. He said that they are implementing a quality scheme by changing the midday meal to Jagananna gorumudda. He added that by the time the schools open, they are able to provide the required books to the students through educational gift kits.
CM Jagan said that education has been changed to English in four years, English medium and CBSE curriculum have been made available in government schools. For the first time in the country, textbooks in two languages have been made available. Tabs with Byjus content have been made available to students. He said that the facilities and teaching in the schools have changed. In the past, class teachers were not available, but now subject teachers have been made available in the 3rd class. Education has been made available with digital classes in every classroom.
He said that every student is given a tab loaded with content on entering the 8th standard. He said that children from poor families are preparing for TOEFL exams from the third grade. He said that they are bringing the students to compete at international levels.
