As the polling date for the Telangana Assembly elections approaches, the onslaught of criticism among a few political leaders will intensify. Recently Asaduddin Owaisi criticized TPCC chief Revanth Reddy. Asaduddin Owaisi called Revanth Reddy a ‘RSS puppet’.
Asaduddin Owaisi said: “Revanth Reddy have nothing to criticize us. You are attacking us by talking about our clothes and beards. This is called dog whistle politics. You – Revanth Reddy are a puppet of RSS. There is no difference between Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress.
However, TPCC chief Revanth Reddy said on Sunday that Owaisi threw a party at his house for a close friend of Modi and Amit Shah during the Karnataka elections.
Asaduddin Owaisi has recently given a counter to Revanth Reddy’s comments. “Telangana PCC Chief went to ABVP as a member of RSS, joined Telugu Desam and now joined Congress. “Someone rightly said that Mohan Bhagwat has captured Congress Gandhi Bhavan and he will run Congress as he wants,” said Asaduddin Owaisi.
Recalling the Citizenship Amendment Act protests, Owaisi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the protesters can be identified by the clothes they wear.
AIMIM will contest 9 seats in upcoming Telangana election. Owaisi’s younger brother and legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi is going tp contestthe Chandrayangutta constituency, which he has been holding since the year 1999.
