
MLC K Kavitha, the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister KCR, participated in a day-long hunger strike held at Jantar Mantar on 10th March to demand the passage of Women’s Reservation Bill. K Kavitha is set to appear before the ED in New Delhi today, in connection with the Delhi liquor scam case. A day earlier, KCR, during a meeting, had said that Enforcement Directorate may take Kavitha into custody after she appears before agency to record her statement. His son and Telangana minister KTR will likely be flying to New Delhi to be with his sister Kavitha as she prepares to appear before ED today. The ED had summoned MLC K Kavitha in the Delhi liquor policy case to record her statement. MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi also come in the support of BRS MLC Kavitha who is facing ED investigation in Delhi liquor scam.

On the otherside, BRS ministers, MPs and activists reached Hastina in support of K Kavitha. Many BRS MPs including Satyavathi Rathore, Maloth Kavitha, Srinivas Goud, former Minister Patnam Mahinder Reddy, Padma Devender Reddy, Sabita Indra Reddy, KK, BB Patil, Vaviraju Ravichandra, have already reached Delhi and met Kavitha.
