Bones get strength: Eating figs cures bone related diseases, because calcium is found in abundance in it. If a person has bone related problems then he should consume figs.

Beneficial for the heart: Consumption of figs keeps cholesterol under control because phenol and Omega 3 properties are found in sufficient quantity in it. Eating figs keeps the heart healthy.

Disadvantages of eating figs

1. If you have any kind of allergy then you should avoid consuming figs.

2. Diabetic patients should avoid eating figs because a lot of sugar is found in figs, which can be harmful for diabetic patients.

3. Eating too many figs can cause its seeds to get stuck in the intestines and cause blockage, which can damage the liver.

4. Eating figs in large quantities can cause tooth decay, hence consume figs in limited quantity only.
