Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Bhola Shankar has hit the theaters today on 11th August and it had USA Premier on 10th August. Bhola Shankar which is helmed by Meher Ramesh, is an official remake of the 2015 Tamil film Vedalam starring Ajith. According to the latest report, Bholaa Shankar has collected $286k from 294 loc from USA . Bhola Shankar which has Baahubali fame Tamannah Bhatia as the leading lady is bankrolled by AK entertainment. The movie also has national award winning actress Keerthy Suresh who is essaying the role of Chiru’ sister.
On the otherside, Bhola Shankar’s advance booking has opened and is off to a slow start in both Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Directed by Meher Ramesh, Bholaa Shankar is one of the least hyped movies of megastar Chiranjeevi which led to below-expected response in advance sales. The film however, is still to open with a good collection due to Chiranjeevi’s star power and well received promos.
.The movie is all about the story of Shankar (Chiranjeevi), a former gangster who arrives in Kolkata with his adopted sister Mahalakshmi (Keerthy Suresh) for her education and also on a personal mission to hunt down a crime network who were responsible for the death of his sister Mahalakshmi’s family.
