Chiranjeevi is getting back on the big screens again this year after delivering blockbuster Waltair Veerayya earlier this year. And now he is coming up with Bholaa Shankar to entertain the movie lovers. Bholaa Shankar became the lowest pre-release business in the second innings of Chiranjeevi. Meher Ramesh is the helmer of this film which will be released worldwide on August 11. Bhola Shankar is the remake of successful Tamil film Vedalam.
The pre-release business of this movie Bholaa Shankar is around Rs 80 crores worldwide. Trade circles say that Chiranjeevi’s movie theatrical business has been done to the tune of Rs 22 crores in Nizam. It is known that the theatrical rights have been sold for 12 crores in ceeded and 10 crores in Uttarandhra.
Due to the Chiranjeevi craze, it is known that the business has been completed to the tune of Rs 7 crores overseas. Bhola Shankar’s pre-release business is reported to be around Rs 70 crores in Telugu states. Bhola Shankar is releasing worldwide with a break even target of Rs 82 crores.
Chiranjeevi’ last film Waltair Veerayya did pre-release business up to Rs 90 crores and Acharya Rs 95 crores. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ theatrical rights were sold for the highest amount of Rs 180 crores. Compared to them, it is noteworthy that the pre-release business of Bhola Shankar’s film is less.
