BJP’s plan seems to be reversing in Telangana. Due to the impact of Karnataka results, the leaders who joined the BJP from other parties are looking sideways. Along with this, the national leadership of BJP entered the field as differences arose between the leaders. Disgruntled leaders are being called to Delhi. Already Etala Rajender, Komati Reddy called Rajagopal Reddy to Delhi and inquired about the issues. They explained their problems to the high command that BJP’s current strategies are not enough to face BRS. But as the high command did not get proper response, the leaders got into trouble.
Internal war is going on in Telangana BJP. Now this controversy has reached Delhi. Although it was thought that there would be a massive influx into the BJP, those efforts did not succeed.
It seems that leaders have split into Bandi Sanjay and Etala factions in the party. It is reported that some people in the party are unhappy with Bandi Sanjay’s leadership. Some leaders have complained to the BJP high command to change Telangana BJP chief. It is being spread that some leaders are looking towards other parties as the BJP high command is not taking action.
Etala Rajender and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy met with top BJP leaders in Delhi to discuss with the BJP high command and take the final decision. Congress alleges that there is a deal between BRS and BJP behind KTR’s appointment and Kavitha’s non-arrest in the liquor case. Etala and Komatireddy say that they joined the party with the aim of defeating BRS.
As both did not get a clear assurance from the BJP high command, they are planning to change the party and all set to join Congress.
