
Union Home Minister Amit Shah directly replied to the opposition’s criticism that the Center is favoring Adani Group. He concluded that Bharatiya Janata Party- BJP is not hiding anything in this matter and is not afraid of anything. He said that it is not appropriate to speak as this matter is currently under judicial investigation. It is known that the opposition parties are slandering BJP government by calling it a dependent bias.
It is known that Hindenburg released a report at the end of January stating that there are irregularities in the accounts and share prices of Adani Group companies. After that the shares of Adani companies suffered huge losses in stock market.
Nirmala Sitharaman- the Union Finance Minister also condemned the allegations of the opposition both inside and outside Parliament. She clarified that the regulatory bodies will take care of this matter. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also dismissed the opposition’s allegations as meaningless.
This is the first time that Amit Shah has responded to the Adani issue. And he said, “This issue has gone to Supreme Court. As a minister, it is not appropriate to speak on a matter that has come under the Supreme Court. But, BJP has nothing to hide in this matter. Also, there is no fear of anything.”
