BJP leaders started a verbal attack on AP government. The debate is now going on in the political circles as to what is the reason for the change in the behavior of the BJP. Yesterday BJP national president Nadda and Amit Shah accused AP government of corruption. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy was directly targeted. Everyone is interested to know what is the reason for the verbal attack of the top BJP leaders.

As there is only one year left for the elections in AP, the calculations are changing between the parties. Last month, TDP president Chandrababu Naidu met Amit Shah and Nadda. What happened in his meeting did not come out. Neither the BJP nor the TDP confirmed the fact that the preliminary discussion was held for alliances. Another group also said that Babu’s meeting was not for alliance. Even if the calculations of the alliances are not clear yet, BJP’s efforts to gain foothold in AP seem to be the same as where they were laid for four years.

It seems that the BJP is ready to adopt a long-term strategy as it comes to the realization that the reason why the BJP is not growing is because of the strength of the two regional parties.

BJP has been providing poor support to YSRCP in AP for four years. AP got relief from the Center unlike other states in terms of the support and loans required for the survival of the government.

By the time of the elections, there are good chances that the party will use corruption allegations as a weapon to attack the YCP government in a serious manner.
