Bahujan Samaj Party state president Dr RS Praveen Kumar has announced that his party will contest alone in the upcoming elections. He responded to this on Twitter on Saturday. The news reports in some television channels that there is a chance of an alliance between the BSP and Congress parties in the next election are untrue. He made this statement at a time when there is a strong campaign in the political circles across the state that the BSP will form an alliance with the Congress.
BSP chief Behanji Kumari Mayawati’s announcement made at Sarur Nagar Stadium on May 7 in accordance with the aspirations of the people of Telangana is the party’s flagship. The party ranks want to work towards the ultimate goal of the party which is to end the rule of the aristocrats and establish a Bahujan Rajya in Telangana. He said that if like-minded parties unite with BSP, they will rethink the electoral alliances.
RS Praveen Kumar has accused BRS leaders of land grabs, illegal businesses and atrocities. As part of the Bahujan Rajyadhikara Yatra, youths from various parties joined the BSP in Chinthalamanepalli mandal Dabba of Asifabad district on Saturday. Speaking on this occasion, he said that MLA Koneru Konappa is filing illegal cases against the poor community in Sirpur area and they are subjecting them to bio-insurgency. He criticized that the MLA is looting the public wealth by doing illegal rice danda, illegal liquor and real estate business, buying luxury cars and buying luxury watches.
