TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, who was arrested in the skill development case, approached the Supreme Court. The High Court verdict on the Quash Petition was challenged in the Supreme Court. In a petition filed in the Supreme Court, Chandrababu’s lawyers claimed that 17(A) applies to Chandrababu. Chandrababu’s lawyers handed over a copy of the petition in the Supreme Court registry. It is reported that this petition is likely to be heard on Monday. However, Chandrababu had earlier approached the High Court to dismiss the cases registered against him. The High Court dismissed the quash petition saying that it cannot interfere while the investigation is at its final stage.
