It is known that ACB court in Vijayawada remanded TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu for 14 days in the skill development case. He is currently in remand in Rajahmundry Central Jail.  On the other hand, his lawyers filed a lunch motion petition in the AP High Court challenging the ACB court’s remand.

Former advocate general and senior advocate Dhammalapati Srinivas filed the petition on behalf of Chandrababu Naidu. The petition stated that the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu is illegal. He asked how he could arrest without the permission of the governor. They objected to the manner in which Chandrababu was arrested. On the other hand, the High Court accepted the lunch motion petition for hearing. Notices have been issued to AP Govt. The High Court said that it will hear the petition tomorrow.
