ACB court in Vijayawada remanded Chandrababu Naidu for 14 days yesterday evening in the skill development case. Chandrababu Naidu was shifted to Rajahmundry Central Jail. He was allotted a separate room in the Sneha block of the jail. He was provided security with five personnel. An assistant was appointed to Chandrababu. He is given food and medicine by an assistant. Chandrababu Naidu’ assistant takes care of him. According to the court orders, Chandrababu will be provided home food. The TDP chief was provided with all the facilities in the jail.
On the other hand, it is reported that Chandrababu went to bed at 4 am. He slept till 8 am. Those who meet Chandrababu today are likely to be allowed to do Mulakat. Wife Bhuvaneshwari and son Nara Lokesh can be allowed for Mulakat. Medical tests will be conducted for him shortly. Mulakat is allowed after breakfast.
300 policemen have been deployed around Rajahmundry Central Jail. Section 30 has been imposed in the city. The whole of Rajahmundry has gone under the belt of the police. 36 are guarding with picketing. On the other hand, TDP has called for a state-wide bandh today. A tense situation prevailed in all the districts in the wake of the bandh. TDP ranks are being house arrested by the police everywhere.
Chandrabbau Naidu has been allotted the upper block in Sneha Wing of the jail to reside until further procedure alongside prisoner number 7691.
