AP CID has submitted the remand report in Chandrababu Naidu’ arrest case. AP CID took Chandrababu to the ACB court in Vijayawada on Sunday morning and presented before the judge.
CID has mentioned the key points in remand report. It is said that Chandrababu has full knowledge of skill scam. He is said to be the main conspirator. Through Illandula Ramesh, representatives of DesignTech Siemens met Chandrababu. AP CID also mentioned the name of Nara Lokesh in the remand report. It explained that money was received by Lokesh through Chandrababu’s close friend Kilari Rajesh.
CID named Chandrababu as A37 in the remand report with total 28 pages. It revealed that Rs.371 crores were paid as government share to Siemens company, of which Rs.270 crores were diverted to shell companies. It is alleged that Chandrababu met the representatives of Design Tech and Siemens through Illandu Ramesh and conspired with officials like Ganta Subbarao and Lakshminarayana to set aside the Cabinet resolution.
The CID said that the government has suffered a loss of Rs 300 crores in the skill scam. It has been said that a huge amount of government funds have been diverted to shell companies. It is of the opinion that Chandrababu Naidu should be taken into custody for 15 days for further investigation.
CID officials named Ganta Subbarao as A1 in this case. The remand report explained that Chandrababu did not care about the then finance secretary’s objection on the diversion of funds and diverted the funds without even informing the cabinet ministers. Chandrababu’s name is not in the FIR registered in 2021. However, Chandrababu’s name was included in the remand report filed by the CID.
