TDP president Chandrababu Naidu demanded that the state government should expand the relief measures as Cyclone Michaung is approaching many districts in Andhra Pradesh.
Telugu Desam President Nara Chandrababu Naidu has suggested that the information that the impact of Cyclone Michaung will be severe on the state, is worrying, the government should take immediate relief measures.
Chandrababu asked the government to ensure that the farmers are not harmed due to the storm. He said that although the grain farmers suffered severe losses due to untimely rains in the past, the government did not respond appropriately.
He said that the farmers are already suffering from various restrictions in the procurement of grain and demanded that the problem be solved immediately. He said that at the time of harvest, the storm is causing serious concern to the rice farmers. Restrictions on the purchase of grain should be removed. Chandrababu urged immediate action to provide shelters and essential food for the people affected by the cyclone.
Chandrababu Naidu called on Telugu Desam Party workers and leaders to stand by the cyclone victims. The impact of the cyclone is likely to be severe on many districts, Chandrababu Naidu has asked the party leaders and activists to stand by the affected communities and provide conscious assistance.
