Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s visit to YSR district was canceled due to leg injury. The Chief Minister is expected to participate in Sitaram’s Kalyanotsava to be organized at the Vontimitta Ram Temple on Wednesday in honor of Sri Ram Navami and present silk clothes and talambaras on behalf of the state government.  Chief Minister office said in a statement on Tuesday that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy sprained his leg while exercising on Tuesday morning and the pain worsened in the evening and the trip was canceled due to leg pain. CM Jagan Mohan Reddy sprained his leg while exercising on Tuesday morning. The pain worsened in the evening. The CMO explained in the statement that the authorities have canceled his travel on the advice of the doctors.

 The sources revealed that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy suffered leg injuries in an accident at a young age.  It is known that Jagan Mohan Reddy gives utmost importance to fitness and keeps his body fit with regular exercise. The party leaders remind that thousands of kilometers have been walked on foot even during padayatras. Even during the time of Corona, the Chief Minister had a leg pain and underwent a scan at a local hospital. After that he recovered with the instructions of the doctors.

On the other hand, BJP leaders faulted Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s cancellation of Vontimitta temple visit.
