YSR Law Nestham will provide financial assistance to young lawyers in AP today (The second installment for the year 2023-24).
2,807 eligible Junior Advocates across the State will receive Rs 5,000 per stipend for a period of 6 months between July-December 2023 Rs 30,000 for a total of Rs 7,98,95,000 will be released. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy transferred the funds from the CM’s camp office to the accounts of the beneficiaries.
A stipend of Rs 1,80,000 is being provided in two installments at the rate of Rs 60,000 per annum for 3 years to help young lawyers who have completed their law graduation stay in the profession.
In addition to the assistance provided today, 6,069 young lawyers have received a total of Rs 49.51 crores as financial assistance.
For the welfare of advocates, an Advocate’s Welfare Trust has been set up with Rs 100 crores as members of the Law and Finance Secretaries under the supervision of the Advocate General, and for the needs of advocates, loans, group mediclaim policies and other needs have already been allocated through this trust.
