CM KCR and Minister Harish Rao visited Venkateswara Swami at Konaipalli in Siddipet district and performed special pooja. As per the custom, CM KCR and Minister Harish Rao offered their nomination papers for the assembly elections at the Lord’s feet. While chanting prayers and mantras, KCR signed his nomination papers. CM KCR will file nominations in Gajwel and Kamareddy constituencies on 9th of this month. On the same day, Minister Harish Rao will make the nomination in Siddipet.

His followers say that from the time he contested as Siddipet MLA for the first time in 1983 till now, every time CM KCR has done the puja at Konaipalli, his nomination has been made. Finance Minister Harish Rao and Medak MP Kota Prabhakar Reddy will also file their nomination after performing pooja here. The process of nominations has started in Telangana from today. Candidates contesting as MLAs submit their nomination papers to the election officials.

He also performed Raja shyamala yagam for the last three days at his farmhouse in Erravalli, Medak district for the welfare of  Telangana. The yagam came to an end on Friday with a ‘Maha Purnahuti’ as rituals were performed by the priests from both Telugu States-  Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
