Chief Minister KCR wrote a letter to Prime Minister Modi. He demanded that the 33 percent women’s reservation bill, including the 33 percent BC reservation bill, should be introduced in special sessions of parliament. They want to bring these two bills before the House in the special sessions of the Parliament to be held from 18th of this month. The joint meeting of the BRS Parliamentary Party held at Pragati Bhavan on Friday unanimously resolved on this matter and demanded the central government.
A joint meeting of the BRS Parliamentary Party was held on Friday under the chairmanship of BRS Party National President and Chief Minister KCR. On this occasion, the parliamentary party discussed at length the issues related to the activities to be undertaken by the BRS MPs towards the introduction of these two bills, the BC (OBC) Bill and the Women’s Bill in the special sessions of the Parliament.
CM KCR made it clear that the BRS party is committed for the welfare of women and the advancement of BCs and BRS will raise its voice from time to time to the Center to protect their rights across the country. In this direction, the party chief and CM KCR has directed that the MPs should raise the demands of the party in the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha in the special sessions of the Parliament.
