G20 stands for ‘Group of 20’. It includes 19 countries and the European Union. The G20 was established in 1999. It has become a platform for making plans to strengthen the global economy. The heads of state discuss the problems faced by the world in terms of the economic system at the G20 platform and try to find solutions.

But currently this G20 summit is not focusing on the global economy. As the years go by along with economy, trading, sustainable development, health, agriculture, energy, environment, climate change are also discussed in these meetings.

Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden are likely to hold bilateral meeting in Delhi, hours before G20 Summit.  Joe Biden is set to arrive in Delhi at around 7 pm.
