ED notices to Kavitha in Delhi liquor scam is shaking Telangana politics. BRS leaders are alleging that it is 100% partisan. Ministers are angry that they are being harassed with false cases just because they are questioning the Centre. Congress is questioning why they are not arresting Kavitha in the liquor scam even after all the evidence is available.
11 people have been arrested so far in the Delhi liquor scam. ED report says that Pillai gave a statement that he was Kavitha’s representative and he acted on her orders. There is a possibility of ED questioning Kavitha along with Pillai, who played a key role in the liquor policy. While Manish Sisodia has already been arrested in this case, the reports are coming that K Kavitha will also be arrested next.
K Kavitha will have a meeting with the legal experts shortly about the ED notices. ED notices will be discussed with them. It seems that there is a possibility of seeking postponement of the hearing in the light of the advance schedule for the Ellundi Delhi Diksha for the Women’s Bill.
BRS supporters are saying that center has targeted BRS. Gangula Kamalkar criticized that ED has given notice to K Kavitha for political reasons. Even though Kavitha has nothing to do with the liquor scam, they are causing trouble
MLAs Ganesh Gupta and Dana Nagender said that the Center is targeting a woman. It is not appropriate to issue such a notice on Women’s Day.
BRS leaders are saying that this is the honor given by BJP to a woman on International Women’s Day.
