The results of Telangana Assembly Elections will be declared tomorrow. But in the wake of the exit polls, it seems that the Congress is getting alarmed. Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar made key comments on Saturday in the context of such situations. DK Shivakumar said there is information that KCR is contacting our party’s candidates.
“We know they (BRS) are trying to trap us. Our candidates informed us that they were approached by the CM KCR himself. We have the information because our candidates themselves said it,” said DK Shivakumar.
DK Sivakumar said that he is confident that the Congress party will get a majority in Telangana. “I am going there because it is my party work. The entire Telangana team was here with us during the Karnataka elections. That’s why I’m going too. Let’s see what happens after the results. No trouble, no threat. We have faith. Our party will win comfortably,” he said.
Meanwhile, a senior Congress leader made key comments. He said that the BRS people are making phone calls saying that they will join the Congress.
“They (BRS) took 12 MLAs from our party last time. They took our people last time but this time they have to be careful that their people do not come to us. Now all our leaders and I are getting calls to come back to our party. It can be understood that they are ready to join us. So the BRS party should be careful not to lose their leaders,” said Renuka Chaudhary.
