Drunken people created havoc by running over the police who were driving drunk. This incident took place in Miryalaguda.
Drug addicts are causing accidents by driving under the influence of alcohol. To prevent these accidents, the police conducted drunken driving test. In Miryalaguda of Nalgonda district, a drunk driver threw his car at the policemen who were driving drunk and created havoc. When the police tried to stop the car, it was hit and dragged for some distance.
Police conducted a drunken drive in Miryalaguda Monday night. They stopped the vehicles at the local Hanuman Peta flyover and conducted tests with breath analyzer to see if anyone was driving under the influence. Constable Lingareddy tried to stop a car coming from the other side. But he hit the constable who stopped the car and dragged him some distance.
Constable Lingareddy was seriously injured in an unexpected incident. He was immediately shifted to the local government hospital where he is being treated. The rest of the police personnel tried to catch the car but escaped without finding it.
The police registered a case on the complaint of Constable Lingareddy. They are trying to identify the car with the help of CC cameras. The police suspect that the car may have left without stopping due to the consumption of alcohol.
