The incident took place in Maharashtra’s Nagpur on Wednesday. A 19-year-old girl is studying B.Tech 2nd year in a big engineering college in the suburbs of Nagpur. She is staying in a room on rent in Hingna area.
On Wednesday, she left home for college as usual. A man intercepted her around 9:50 am. He threatened with an axe. She was scared. After threatening with an axe, he forcibly took the young woman to the local bushes. There, he raped her. The young lady screamed for help but to no avail.
After raping the college student, the 30-year-old man ran away from there. After recovering from the incident, she went to the police station. She explained what happened to her and complained.
The police registered a case on the incident and started the investigation. However, it seems that the accused has not been arrested yet. Officials say that the accused will be caught soon with the details given by the young woman.
