Famous stand-up comedian Khayali Saharan, who is known for his stint in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, has been booked for raping a 25-year-old woman in a hotel room. A lady lodged a police complaint against the comedian on Tuesday at Mansarovar police station in Jaipur.
The police revealed that the incident took place on Monday when the comedian Khayali Saharan, who is an AAP activist, in an “inebriated condition” raped the woman in a hotel room in the Mansarovar area on the pretext of helping her get a job.
A case under IPC Section 376 has been registered against Famous stand-up comedian Khayali Saharan following a complaint lodged by the lady. As per the police report, they have started the investigation.
The lady who lodged the complaint against the comedian hails from Sriganganagar and she works as a marketing executive for a firm. She, along with another lady, came in contact with Khayali Saharan nearly a month ago seeking help for a job.
The police revealed that the comedian Khyali booked two rooms in a hotel, one for himself and another for 2 women. The comedian consumed beer and forcibly asked the women to drink beer. Later, one of the women left the room and he r…ped the other woman.
