We eat a variety of nutrients to stay healthy. Nuts, fruits, vegetables etc. are included in our daily meals. Also, to keep our heart healthy, we need to consume certain types of substances daily. For that we especially need fibrous materials. Cholesterol does not rise when we are rich in fiber. Cholesterol is also one of the main causes of heart disease. So if it does not grow, the heart will be hard. And now let’s know the fiber rich foods that are good for the heart.

·         Legumes, beans, etc. are high in plant-related fiber. Fibers are of two types, water soluble and insoluble. By eating these, both of these types are available to our body. Water-soluble fiber does not raise cholesterol. Also, water-insoluble fiber causes a feeling of fullness in the stomach. So we eat less. So both cholesterol and excess weight are under control. Both of these are major causes of heart disease.

·         Do not eat grains that have been polished and whitened. Instead, try eating whole grains such as whole-grain, unprocessed rice and wheat. They are rich in fiber.

·         Vegetables like lettuce, carrots and broccoli are rich in heart-healthy fiber.

·         Pears, apples, bananas, etc. should be part of the daily diet. These help in keeping the heart healthy.

·         Kidney beans, raisins , peanuts and popcorn should be eaten as part of the diet.
