Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has expressed the strong disapproval of the way the Governor’s office was criticized by the Chief Ministers and the national leaders at a public meeting in Khammam. Tamilisai Soundararajan interacted with media said that Chief Minister KCR had disrespected the office of the Governor.
Tamilisai Soundararajan said that she has no information regarding Republic Day celebrations in Telangana. Governor Tamilisai stated that the state government should first answer why protocols were not being followed and that she would not comment on the pending files until the government makes its position clear.
Tamilisai stated that she has been in politics for 25 years and knows the protocol. She added that CM KCR’s comments on the governors were inappropriate. He insulted the governor. Tamilisai questioned how the governor system can be mocked. She said that the government will answer the questions only after KCR responds on the protocol.
Telangana Governor Soundararajan said that she has many questions regarding the recent death of two infants in Malak Peta Government Hospital. She opined that there is a need to improve the facilities in the medical sector .
On the otherside, the four CMs, including KCR, who participated in the Khammam public meeting, severely criticized the central government.
