Political tensions took place in Anantapur. Harikrishna Reddy from Nandigama arrived yesterday and he not only made harsh comments on TDP leader Paritala Sriram and Paritala’s family, but also challenged him to come to the clock tower.
Harikrishna Reddy’s posts on social media have angered TDP leaders. With that, TDP activists reached the clock tower in Anantapur town . Harikrishna Reddy also reached the clock tower and once again criticized Paritala’s family members. On this occasion, there was a tense atmosphere between TDP and YCP factions due to stone pelting.
With that, the police intervened and arrested the TDP workers. A TDP worker and a police constable were injured during the stone pelting. The constable who sustained head injuries was taken to the hospital for the treatment.
For some time now, there has been a war between TDP and YCP on the development posts of Raptadu constituency on social media. A TDP supporter challenged YCP supporter Harikrishna Reddy to come to Anantapur and the YCP supporter accepted the challenge and came to Anantapur. He released a video on social media announcing his arrival. With that, the word war between TDP and YCP took place. Police rushed to the scene and dispersed the two sides and brought the situation under control.
