Revoking the article 370 and 35 (A) in Jammu Kashmir has been the most debated topic these days. On one hand, people of J & K thinking that they lost their privileges and are protesting the move and centre has heavily beefed up security on all the corners of the places. Even the situation went in a way that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself called all the state Chief Ministers to be alert on the security point at this time. And on the other hand, developments of J & K seems to be benefitting the two Telugu states.
Wondering how? It is because that Jammu and Kashmir are getting ready for the constituency delimitation. And this may also benefit in a way that Andhra and Telangana will have delimitations too. Earlier, both the Telugu states have demanded the centre for delimitation to increase the number of seats but the output was null. And if delimitation happens in J &K, centre might have to consider, delimitation requests of these two Telugu states too. If everything goes as expected on delimitation, J and K seats will go up from 83 to 114, whereas, the Telugu states of AP will have 225 seats and Telangana will go high from 117 to 151 seats.
