Hyderabad Police has arrested a person who provided financial support to terrorists who planned serial blasts in Hyderabad. Earlier, Hyderabad police had arrested many people on charges of plotting consecutive blasts during Dussehra last year. Despite the arrest, as part of the investigation of the accused, the person who provided funds to them was recently arrested.

Mohammed Abdul Kaleem alias Kaleem alias Arshad Khan of Hyderabad old town was arrested by CIT and CCS police and taken to Chanchalguda Jail on Thursday. The police investigation found that the accused had prepared to create carnage in the city with a series of explosions. The terrorists Abdul Zaheed alias Motu, Mohammad Samiuddin alias Sami and Maz Hasan Farooq alias Maz received money from Pakistan. Kaleem delivered the money received through hawala route to the accused. He received a total of Rs 40 lakhs from Pakistan and gave it to Zaheed. Out of them, he bought two two-wheelers for Rs.15 lakh and the police recovered Rs.20,41,800. The SIT and CCS police, who have been keeping an eye on Kaleem’s movements for the past few days, have recently arrested him based on the information given by the accused who have already been arrested.
