Health Director Gadala Srinivasa Rao announced that he is entering politics with the blessings of Telangana Chief Minister KCR. Gadala Srinivasa Rao announced that he will contest from Kothagudem in the next election. On Saturday, he clarified his entry in politics. He spoke to the media at Janhitham office in Srinagar Colony on Saturday. He explained that there is no intention of contesting independently or from other parties.
He reminded that there are no employment opportunities in Kothagudem and many are migrating to Hyderabad and other parts of the country. Srinivasa Rao wrote an open letter to the people of the constituency on this matter. Gadala Srinivasa Rao Trust has explained about the service programs being carried out for the people.
Srinivasa Rao is trying to reach the people through free medical services by frequently visiting the constituency. He said that he has set up GSR Trust in Kothagudem area where he was born and is working for education, medical and employment creation. He said that a trauma center is being made available at Kothagudem Sarvajana Hospital with Rs.2 crores. Srinivasa Rao said that he is currently serving patients as a doctor, but now he wants to serve people directly.
