It seems that there has been a change in the thinking of Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader KCR regarding the country’s politics. KCR, who stood against the BJP until recently, has not mentioned the name of the party for a few days. At the same time, he is criticizing the Congress party. In this order, there are opinions that they are taking a step back to form a team with the opposition alliance which is uniting to defeat the BJP at the Centre. To strengthen this, CM KCR will stay away from the meeting of the opposition in Patna on 23rd of this month. KCR informed this matter to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar who brought the leading opposition parties on a common platform. Sources close to him say that KCR does not want to be a part of the opposition with the Congress.

‘KCR has always talked about a non-Congress and non-BJP front. The meeting in Patna is contrary to his basic principle. He will not share the stage with the Congress,” a senior BRS party leader said.

It seems that CM KCR is absent from the meeting of the opposition in the background of the fact that the Congress party is considered to be the main competitor of the BRS in the upcoming assembly elections. Sharing a common platform with a party perceived as the main opposition sends conflicting signals to voters in an election year.
