BRS has to announce candidates for all five seats after Mynampally resigned from the party who won the ticket. Janagama seat became the most important in this. Even though there is a sitting MLA here, KCR has kept the candidate pending as another MLC made strong efforts. But the high command, which wants to give clarity on the ticket, seems to have completed the exercise in that direction. It seems that the official announcement of the name of the candidate is left.
It is learned that the high command of BRS Party, which was expected to take a decision on the Janagama issue, has favored Palla Rajeshwar Reddy. According to the party circles, the official announcement regarding this may be made today.
Palla Rajeshwar has made many comments on Saturday indirectly saying that he will get the ticket if this is the case. Mutthi Reddy posted a video on his Twitter asking him to hoist the flag in Janagam with the support of KCR.
Janagama is an assembly constituency which was formerly part of the combined Warangal constituency. After the formation of the state, Janagama was formed as a separate district. BRS party won here in 2014 and 2018 elections.
