Huma Qureshi is good as Zareena. Easwari Rao as Kaala’s wife, Selvi is good and Anjali Patil as Puyal, the girlfriend of one of Kaala’s sons performs well. Rest of the cast performed accordingly.
Technical: The storyline of Kaala is simple and is all about slums of India. Background music by Santhosh Narayanan is average. Cinematography by Murali G is excellent and entertaining.
