Former BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana resigned from BJP and the reports are coming that he will join TDP. His followers also followed Kanna’s path. Kanna seems to have been unfriendly to the party for some time now. He is leaving the BJP. Kanna decided to leave the party as he was not happy with the leadership of the BJP. In fact, there was a campaign that Kanna would leave the Bharatiya Janata Party and join the Janasena at the end of last month, but after the central leadership of the BJP relented, he backed down. Kanna Lakshminarayana decided to resign as the situation in the party did not improve and he did not get due priority in the party.
It seems that Kanna has decided to leave the party due to the lack of conditions to resolve the differences that have arisen with BJP president Somu Veerraju and the lack of opportunities to change the situation. The suspense that has been going on for the past few months has come to an end. There was a campaign that Kanna would join the Janasena on the 26th of last month, but it was postponed at the last minute.
Last month, Somu Veerraju removed few members from the party’s district presidents and affiliated divisions. Kanna expressed his anger that Somu Veerraju removed those whom he had appointed as president from the party positions without speaking to him. Somu Veeraju did not respond to this and appointed his men in all the districts.
