Telangana CM KCR said that Bharitya Janata Party BJP is conspiring to divide people in the name of Uniform Civil Code – UCC. CM KCR announced that he is against UCC. They are trying to confuse people of all religions with UCC. He expressed anger that BJP is doing hate politics. He alleged that BJP has already divided the people in many ways and now they are conspiring to divide the people once again in the name of UCC. He said that India stands as an example for the world by showing unity in diversity. KCR said that BJP and UCC are conspiring to break the unity of Indians. CM added that they are rejecting the central government’s decisions on UCC.
After meeting a delegation of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, as well as religious organisations led by MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, on Monday CM KCR announced that BRS will oppose UCC Bill proposed by the BJP led govt at the Centre. CM KCR discussed Uniform Civil Code with Muslim leaders and said that UCC would be a loss for Muslims as well as Hindus. He said injustice will be done to the tribals also with this bill.
MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi asked CM KCR to oppose BRS UCC Bill in Parliament. He said that there are crores of adivasis in all the states and all of them will face difficulties due to UCC. Owaisi said UCC is not good for democracy.
