The  KCR Government vs Governor debate continues over the Budget of the state.   KCr government will likely move the High Court against the Governor Tamilasai Soundarajan. The tussle between the Government and Governor Tamilasai Soundarajan continues to brew and is likely to inflame into a full blown political controversy.

Chandrashekar Rao-led BRS government is contemplating moving the state High Court seeking directions to Governor Tamilisai to accord approval for the presentation of the State Budget for the financial year 2023-24. Government proposed to commence the budget session on 3rd February . The State government, which sent the budget proposals file to Raj Bhavan on  21st January, has not yet received any approval. Instead, Governor’s office sought information about the customary Governor’s address to the joint session of the legislature.

The reports are coming that the Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari and finance secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao will meet the Governor Tamilasai Soundarajan to seek permission for budget presentation. KCR led  Telangana government is ready for a legal course if Governor Tamilasai rejects it.

BRS government’s mulling to take the legal action against the Governor comes at a time when friction with Governor has become worse, as evidenced by CM and his Cabinet colleagues’ avoiding Raj Bhavan during the past 2 years.
