This Telangana assembly constituency is all set for a significant political battle, featuring KCR, representing BRS, KCR faces opposition from K Venkata Ramana Reddy of BJP and the State Congress President, Revanth Reddy.
TPCC President Revanth Reddy is leading with a huge majority in both the contested constituencies.
Revanth Reddy was in the lead at the end of the seventh round. Patnam Narender from BRS and B. Ramesh Kumar from BJP are contesting here.
At the end of the sixth round, Kodangal Congress candidate Revanth Reddy was leading by 584 votes. Kodangal Constituency includes Kodangal, Bomras Peta, Dudwal, Daultabad, Kosgi, Maddur, Gundumal and Kothapalli mandals.
Revanth Reddy won from Telugu Desam Party in 2009 and 2014 in Kodangal. After that in 2018 BRS candidate Patnam Narendra Reddy won. Currently, Malkajgiri is a Congress MP. Now again Revanth Reddy is leading in Kodangal.
