Telangana Minister KTR asked the Center to stop the privatization of Visakha Steel Plant. Today KTR has written a letter to the central government in this regard.  In that letter, Minister KTR alleged that there is a conspiracy to hand over the Visakha Steel Plant to private companies. He  reminded that 5 lakh crore loans have been waived off. But the minister questioned why they are not showing generosity towards Visakhapatnam steel plant.  KTR asked for financial assistance for the working capital of Visakha Steel Plant. In that letter, he demanded that the Center buy the steel products of Visakha Steel Plant.

KTR suggested to examine the merger of Visakhapatnam with SAIL. In that letter, he demanded to allocate Rs 5 thousand crores. KTR alleged that a new conspiracy is being made in the name of mobilizing funds for working capital and raw material.
