Mahanati completes 50 days: Mahanati, the biopic of legendary South Indian actress Savitri has completed 50 days run at the box office. Mahanati was released on 9th May 2018 in a very grand manner and received positive response by the movie lovers and critics from everywhere, and finally turned out blockbuster at the box office.
Today, Mahanati completes its 50-day run at a few select cities in the twin Telugu states. It is directed by Nag Ashwin and jointly produced by C. Ashwini Dutt, Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema banners whereas the music is scored by Mickey J. Meyer. The production house Vyjayanthi Movies thanked to everyone via their tweet. They tweeted, “Reaching new milestones every day. Keerthy Suresh essayed the role of Savitri whereas Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan played Gemini Ganesan, the husband of Savitri in Mahanati. Apart from the lead pair, Mahanati has other stars like Samantha Akkineni, Vijay Devarakonda, Rajendra Prasad, Tanikella Bharani, Bhanupriya, Malavika Nair, Shalini Pandey, Tulasi, Divyavani, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Naresh, Krish, Srinivas Avasarala, Sandeep Vanga, Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam, Sai Madhav Burra and Manobala in supporting roles.
Mahanati, Savitri biopic has grossed nearly Rs 70 Cr. The movie earned $2.5 million from the US and is still having a successful run at the box office.
