Opposition alliance ‘INDIA’ meeting was held at Ashoka Hotel in Delhi on Tuesday. In this meeting, the strategies to be implemented in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections were primarily discussed.
Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal have proposed that Congress Party president and senior Dalit leader Mallikharjun Kharge should be announced as the prime ministerial candidate on behalf of the opposition coalition India. However, it is reported that Kharge, responding to that proposal, made it clear that ‘Now winning is important, but who the PM candidate is not important’. The discussions in the alliance meeting were conducted. The distribution of seats and the campaign program were discussed. RJD MP Manoj Jha, who participated in the meeting, said that the action will be revealed in the next 20 days.
Party president Mallikarjun Kharge from Congress, senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, DMK leader, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal, RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, NCP chief Sharad Pawar and other 28 party leaders participated in the meeting.
This is a chance to have the country’s first Dalit Prime Minister.
