A medical student suffering from mental problems committed suicide by cutting his pe….is in Hyderabad. It is said that he ended his life when the parents were out. The tragic incident took place at Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad on Sunday.
Dixit Reddy (21), a second year MBBS student at Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad, committed suicide at his home on Sunday. But the police suspect that he may have committed suicide due to his poor mental condition. Dixit Reddy committed suicide in his residence.
Dixit Reddy’s hometown is Devaruppula village of Warangal district. His parents are Somireddy and Karuna. Dixit Reddy’s parents came to Papireddy Nagar, a suburb of Hyderabad, from Warangal about 20 years ago. Dixit Reddy also has a sister. Dixit had been suffering from illness for some time. Dixit Reddy was not in a good mood. So he was using pills. But he was studying MBBS. In past, Dixit Reddy had also tried to commit suicide by swallowing sleeping pills but got out of danger.
Since then parents have been taking care of Dixit Reddy. Treatment was under the supervision of doctors. He used to get depressed that he had to take medicines at a young age. This time when family members went out and returned home around 5 pm on Sunday..
Dixit Reddy who was at home did not answer the door, when the parents looked through the window, found him lying in a pool of blood.
