K Kavitha- BRS MLC and the daughter of Telangana chief minister KCR, is being questioned by the Enforcement Directorate on Saturday in connection to the Delhi liquor policy case. Her party workers and supporters have gathered outside the residence of KCR in Delhi. BRS MLC Kavitha reached ED office for investigation in Delhi liquor scam. Her husband Anil and lawyer Mohan Rao also went to the ED office. However, both of them were stopped outside by the ED officials. With this, Kavitha went inside the office alone.
A team of 5 officers headed by Enforcement Directorate Joint Director is interrogating MLC K Kavitha. The reports are coming that ED has prepared 26 questions for her. Section 144 has been imposed there to ensure that there is no disturbance of law and order in the surrounding areas of ED.
K Kavitha will be made to sit face-to-face with Hyderabad-based businessman Arun Ramchandra Pillai, who was arrested in connection with Delhi liquor policy case.
In its investigation, ED has come to know that Arun Ramchandra Pillai is one of the key persons in the entire scam involving payments of huge kickbacks and formation of the biggest cartel of South Group.
South Group was being represented by Arun Ramchandra Pillai, Abhishek Boinpalli and Butchi Babu, federal agency investigation has revealed.
