Bharat Rashtra Samithi – BRS MLC K Kavitha has appeared before ED- Enforcement Directorate for the second round of questioning on Delhi’s liquor policy case after she skipped the earlier summon citing her petition challenging Enforcement Directorate notice pending for hearing in the Supreme Court. On 11th March, K Kavitha was interrogated by the central agency for almost nine hours following former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia’s arrest in Delhi liquor scam. After that the second time is scheduled to appear on 16th March. But she did not attend on that day, she sent her lawyer for asking another date as she could not attend due to various reasons.
MLC K Kavitha, the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister KCR, flew to Delhi from Begumpet in a special flight yesterday along with her husband Anil, Minister KTR, Rajeev Sagar, Vaviraju Ravichandra Rajya Sabha Member Joginapally Santosh Kumar, and others went. Currently they are all in Delhi.
ED officials are questioning K Kavitha based on the statement made by businessman Ramachandra Pillai. After this investigation, various questions are coming to the fore like whether the ED
officials will take her to trial once again or whether her trial will end today or whether she will be arrested.
Kavitha will face ED investigation again today. Today there are strong signs that Kavitha’s arrest is inevitable.
