A terrible incident has come to light in Maharashtra. A woman who could not bear the harassment of dowry committed suicide.
This incident took place in Palghar district of Maharashtra. A 24-year-old woman got married to a man from Nalla Sopara in May 2022. He is working as an engineer in a private company.
Two months after the wedding, the woman lost her composure. Her husband’s parents pressured the woman to bring 5 lakhs. But the family members of the woman could not give the dowry money.
In this order the woman shared her pain with her father. “Once I called my daughter. She said that everyone is harassing her for dowry. She cried that she was being beaten. She said that she could not bear it anymore,” said the woman’s father.
Later the woman committed suicide on Friday evening. She took her life by hanging herself from the fan. The locals called the victim’s father and told him about this.
On the other hand, after receiving information about the incident, the police went to the scene and seized the body. While examining the dead body, some letters were seen in the hand. The woman left her life writing her husband and in-laws as the cause of her death.
