In his long speech after unfurling the national flag from the Red Fort, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned several key points. PM Modi said that India is facing 3 enemies namely – corruption, nepotism and appeasement. Then India will become a developed country. It has been announced that India will become a developed country by 2047, exactly one hundred years after its independence.
PM Modi said, “I strongly believe that India will become a developed country by the time our country celebrates its 100th Independence Day. I am saying this based on my country’s energy capabilities and availability of resources. If not, we have to fight against three enemies, corruption, nepotism and appeasement.” He said that strict measures are being taken against corruption. They will continue to fight on this. Family politics should have no place in democracy.
PM Modi said, ‘Today familyism and appeasement have ruined our country. How can only one family be in charge of a political party? His life mantra for him is , Party of the family, by the family and for the family. I firmly believe that when the country celebrates 100 years of independence in 2047, the country will be a developed India. The need of the hour is to fight three evils – corruption, dynasty and appeasement.’
Modi added, “When we came to power in 2014, India was ranked 10th in the global economy. We have reached the 5th position with the efforts of 140 crore Indians. It is certain to reach the third position in the next five years.”
